Being a teenager, in the late 60's, and having the "Inn Crowd", were very special time's. Too bad, there are no "do-overs."

Many thanx, to Bill & Peter

The Inn Crowd was one of the highlights of those school years during 63-65. I was in the same class as Peter and still run into him occasionally in Port Perry.
USS provided many great memories of people that I still look back on.

Just a suggestion...I'd recommend creating a Facebook page for the USS 90th reunion, if one doesn't already exist. This will allow USS alums to easily share the details with hundreds of former classmates.

Hi Soup
I don't know if you remember me or not. I was on the UHS Bees when you were centre for the Hornets. When I got to play for the Hornets (guard), we set the record for the most succesive losses by a UHS senior team.
I do recall Coach Newton ranting about me faking you out? and not taking advantage of the deek. Great memories. Hope to cathc up with you and other members of the Bees and Hornets

Question:  Is the " Inn Crowd " being set up in the hall area, or in the ice pad area? Have some friend's and family coming, and if it is in the hall area, might want to get there early, so we can sit together.

Thanx

How come this is such a big thing and when you ask around in Uxbridge, nobody seems to know anything about it? It's about time to spread the news outside of the online world, isn't it?

Yes, I can't believe that it was 40 years ago either. Too bad that the only class pictures of that group are on line are from grade 9. So many people are left out.
[editor's note:] Hi John!  Thank you for your blog post. With respect to only grade 9 showing, we hope to remedy that soon. We have thousands and thousands of pictures still to post but it all takes much time - not only scanning but captioning the results so that they're Google searchable. Please bear with us as we struggle to get more resources into this problem.

Shall we dress up like we did for the tacky party, except in the 70's garb. Can't wait to see you, it's been too long. That goes for all of you out there.

Just so everyone understands that the INN CROWD will be playing in the Community Hall and the arena pad adjacent will be open for people to meet and greet and talk without competing the music.  This was a request from the last reunion.  As far as advertisement, we have tried the Arena sign, posting signs, sending it out on facebook and recommending people look at the website, but if we could all talk it up, that would be great.  Thanks Dawne Duckworth

Yes, Pink Floyd.
As co-chair of the Pub Night that is what we decided; the arena hall for the dancing festivities with the Inn Crowd and the closest arena pad will be set up with another bar area for people to meet and greet.
The concern was at the last reunion people could not really socialize.

In this sramble format, 2 teams of 4, tee off and play together in an 8 some, so that there are 8 people to share memorie's and create new ones. It would be nice, if 1 more foursome would sign up, so that there is not a team, by themselves.

As both a past student and teacher at USS, I have stuff for the decade rooms - but how do I get it to people decorating the rooms?
Who is in charge of each decade room?  How do we contact you?  When are you starting to decorate?  Have time to help, if you need it.

I can bring some things up earlier on Friday if you can use them?
For example...My black school sweater and example of tabs, crest, Letter U and other awards from the late 60's & 70's; I have lots of Astras - late 60's through to 2005; some sports photos - especially Archery teams from 1985 to 1998 (with OFSSA winners); even some early USS history & photos of USS before the renovations done after the 1980's...if you want to see the way we were!
Let me know if you can use any of this?
