Add A Tribute to Donna Arnold (Croxall)

Obituary | |
We lost Donna suddenly and tragically in a car accident on a snowy fall morning in Essex County, Ontario. Donna was a 1973 graduate of USS and a 1977 graduate of the University of Guelph. She was happily pursuing her career calling as a Early Childhood Educator. Those who knew her are better people for having had the experience. We shall not forget.

Tommy was handed the biggest challenge imaginable. He developed ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease) which took 11 years to rob him of all that he held dear; his ability to work at Toronto Hydro, his ability to walk and hunt in the wild, and his dream of retiring to the good life. He fought fearlessly until the end when he simply breathed his last and let go of "now".
He is sorely missed by his wife, Juliette and his two children Gordie and Katie.

I had the pleasure of teaching Steve @ USS & were good friends of his great parents Lloyd & Shirley, teaching with Lloyd for several years @ USS.I watched Steve, his brother Jim & sister Cindy grow up on Reach road & spent time relaxing @ their cottage in Minden with its own home made golf course. After graduating Steven became an accomplished helicopter pilot in Canmore Alberta where my oldest son David trained & became an accomplished pilot himself with Alpine Helicopters.I visited with Steven in Canmore shortly before his tragic death in a helicopter accident in the Maldives.Steve was highly regarded in the helicopter pilot community in the west & his death was very difficult for his family, friends & fellow pilots. We all remember Steve's million dollar smile & his genuine love of life & humour & his gentle demeanour.God Bless you my friend, soar to the highest heights & reunite with your wonderful parents. | |

Doug was such a great friend that I grew up with! Walking up and down Bell St., ice cream in my grandparents back yard as kids in the summer, being Doug's grad escort. I moved away after high school and thankfully the wonderful world of internet brought Doug and I back to friendship for the final years of his life! He was a wonderful friend and is greatly missed!

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near ; still loved,
still missed and very dear.
Treasured in our hearts you'll stay,
until we meet again some day.
Taken away so young from us all, Stephanie had so many friends and touched so many hearts...
Forever loved, never forgotten, always missed.
Mom, dad & sister Karen x
